OUR STORY
Flat Duck Event Barn is a part of one of the oldest farms in the North Georgia area. Established in 1836 shortly after the Cherokee Indian removal by Thomas Chapman Napier, this historic site was originally nestled on 3000 acres. Bearing a rich history, the farmhouse and surrounding acres was once utilized as a hospital for injured soldiers during the Battle of Chickamauga. Now owned and occupied by Hilda and Willis Jones, the couple serves as proud proprietors of Flat Duck Event Barn.
The Jones extend their stunning location to brides and clients alike to host their monumental occasions in a place of beauty. Since transforming their barn into a compelling wedding and event venue, they have enjoyed sharing their historical property with others.
